Brewhouse and Kitchen Milton Keynes

Challenging build erecting a 40 tonne mezzanine 9m up in the air into an existing building atrium using a spider crane. The steel was connected to the existing building columns with site welded fish plates. Access to the 3rd floor was via a steel staircase from the 2nd floor. The existing fire escape was also modified to become the main entrance. A feature working brewery steel platform was installed at 2nd floor level in the centre of the atrium.  The mezzanine is to be used as a function room for the new Brewhouse and Kitchen restaurant and bar, work completed on behalf of Harvey Shopfitters.
