Helm-X returned to Paris Airshow for our 12th consecutive appearance providing our services at this bi-annular show, trusted yet again to deliver Boeing’s hospitality pavilion. This year’s design featured a 35x15m portal frame building built in 3 weeks on the runway at Le Bourget Airport, Paris. Helm-X designed, supplied and installed the steel frame, cladding, roofing, glazing and internal floor. Flippers roller skate disco, Westfield, White City London. Helm-X supplied and installed an extension to an existing mezzanine at the site as part of its conversion into a nightclub. This forms the viewing gallery for the rollerskating rink. Helm-X designed, supplied and installed the crash barrier surrounding the rink, with a solid steel supporting subframe, mirror clad and mesh infill panels, and a tubular handrail. At fishermede there were 72 residential units split over 4 blocks, each requiring a fire escape from each level. Helm-X designed, supplied and installed these fire escapes and structural steel enclosures, encased in powdercoated aluminium box section slat cladding.
